Park House Care (UK) Ltd is a small twenty bedded eighteenth-century privately owned care home. Based in Martinstown (Near Dorchester), we are surrounded by beautiful countryside whilst still being very commutable from the nearby areas of Dorchester, Weymouth, and Bridport.
We are able to offer a range of care and support services from general welfare to end of life care. Park House also primarily specialises in care and support for those living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
We are committed to providing quality personal-centered care, within a homely, relaxed, welcoming environment. We pride ourselves on promoting a culture which is able to think outside of the box when trying to overcome any difficulties that may arise during the care assessment or reviewing phases. We try to work with residents in a positive and proactive way and are very reluctant to ever say ‘no’ to a service requirement.
Our residents have access to all communal areas such as the lounge, inglenook, dining room, and gardens. We are able to provide within communal areas and resident’s bedrooms any equipment / aids as necessary such as chair raisers, toilet raisers, and ramps. The home also has a passenger lift with access to the ground and first floor, in addition to an accessible staircase.
Our care and support staff are also trained to promote resident’s independence as much as possible. We pride ourselves on the levels of choice, dignity, and respect that we offer to our Residents. It is our goal to ensure each and every resident feels comfortable and happy within their home.
Park House is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) who are the regulatory body within all Health and Social Care settings. Our most recent inspection report is available to download on our website and also displayed within the entrance hall to the home.
